    We’ve been building toward coffees like this all year — and we’re proud to introduce Buenavista Bloom, the first release in our summer limited edition series.

    This is a natural processed Colombian with a flavour profile that surprised even us.
    Bright pineapple, soft toffee sweetness, and a clean, fruit-forward finish that sits perfectly in hot or cold drinks. It’s the kind of coffee that reminds you instantly that single origin instant is a whole different world.

    Why We Chose This Coffee

    We wanted to open our summer limited editions with something that felt alive:

    • Origin: Buenavista, Quindio, Colombia

    • Process: Natural

    • Flavour notes: Pineapple, toffee, vanilla warmth

    • Character: Softened acidity boosts sweetness. 

    The processing pushes big tropical aromatics forward, but the structure stays balanced — no fermenty edge, no muddiness.
    Exactly the kind of profile that translates beautifully through freeze-drying.


    Why It Works So Well as Instant

    Natural processed coffees with strong fruit character tend to:

    • Retain aromatics during freeze-drying

    • Hold sweetness even at lower concentrations

    • Produce expressive cold drinks

    • Deliver a “filter-like” cup without equipment

    This one was a standout from the first tray I pulled out.


    How to Brew Buenavista Bloom

    Because instant doesn’t mean guesswork.
    Here’s how to get the best out of every jar.


    1️⃣ Single-Origin Espresso Style (Rich + Sweet)

    For a short, intense, espresso-like cup.

    You’ll need:

    • 3g instant

    • 50mL hot water (just off boil)

    How to make:

    1. Add 3g to a small cup

    2. Pour 50mL of hot water @ 70C

    3. Stir slowly until dissolved

    4. Sip straight, or use as the base for milk drinks

    Tasting:
    Pineapple upfront → toffee sweetness through the mid → clean finish.


    2️⃣ Long Black / Filter-Style (Clean + Daily Driver)

    This is where the coffee shows its clarity.

    You’ll need:

    • 3g instant

    • 180mL hot water

    How to make:

    1. Add 1.5–2g to your cup

    2. Top with hot water

    3. Stir gently

    4. Let it cool for 30 seconds before sipping

    Tasting:
    Light tropical acidity, sweet and silky, balanced like a clean filter.


    3️⃣ Iced Long Black (Summer's Sweet Spot)

    Buenavista Bloom absolutely shines here.

    You’ll need:

    • 3g instant

    • 60mL cold water

    • Ice

    • 120mL cold water (top-up)

    How to make:

    1. Dissolve 3g instant in 60mL cold water

    2. Add a full glass of ice

    3. Top up with 120mL cold water

    4. Stir gently

    5. Add a slice of orange or pineapple if you’re feeling fancy

    Tasting:
    Vibrant pineapple top notes, caramelised sugar sweetness, refreshing finish.
    A proper summer drink.
