Equipment & Consulting

Equipment Sizing & Fitout Consulting
We work with cafes and roasters on equipment selection, layout, and program design — quoted separately from any coffee supply, always. If you're building a new venue, refitting an existing one, or trying to work out what equipment actually makes sense for your volume, this is the conversation to have first.

Where We Focus: Automated Systems
Most consulting in this space defaults to standard manual espresso setups. We don't. Our focus is automated systems, particularly Eversys — not many roasters in Australia are dedicating real time to understanding how these systems actually perform in a working venue, and we are.

That matters because automation changes the equation on service speed, staffing cost, and consistency in ways a standard setup can't. If you're evaluating whether an automated system is right for your venue, we can talk through the real trade-offs, not just the sales pitch.

What This Covers

  • Machine selection — matched to your actual volume and service style, not oversold

  • Layout and workflow planning for new fitouts or refits

  • Automated milk and espresso system evaluation, with a real-world view of how they hold up under service pressure

  • Program design — building a coffee offering around the equipment you're running, not the other way around

Sizing & Floor Planning
Before you commit to a fitout, it's worth knowing whether the equipment you're considering actually matches your real volume, and how it physically works in the space you've got. We've built tools to walk through exactly that — sizing equipment against realistic throughput rather than what a salesperson recommends, then mapping how it sits in your actual floor plan before anything's ordered.

This comes from direct experience: over-capitalising on equipment is a mistake we've made ourselves, on a larger scale than most cafes ever would, and it's exactly why we built the tools to stop other people doing the same thing.

Equipment, Quoted Separately
Equipment is always priced and quoted separately from coffee supply. That's a non-negotiable on our end — you should be able to see exactly what you're paying for hardware versus what you're paying for coffee, with nothing bundled to obscure either number.
